About Me

Me in pink scarf 11.18.2021-Edit

I’ve dabbled in photography since I was a child, from the disposable camera, to film cameras in high school dark-room classes, to the first digital SLR’s. I remember sorting through old magazines at my grandmother’s house, cutting out clips of favorite photos and artwork to savor.  Over time, I would scrapbook these pieces so as to pull open later and enjoy, creating vision!  I remember in college, I posted images that would inspire me of mountains and life upon my sliding wood closet door. I would hope to enjoy one day these placesand dream until then.
Fast forward to 2006, I realized my passion in life was to share images with information and stories. I headed to Ventura, CA to work at a photography school named Brooks Institute.  Auditing classes while working, and modeling for a student workshop became fun and exciting, but my main passion continued on to share real-life, information and creativity thru images.
I returned home (to Minnesota) from CA in 2008, and immediately began my business.  My first photoshoot was for a family, and they continued on to be faithful customers.  I continued in the wedding field from there, capturing weddings and other corporate events.  I found myself photographing for Clinton Kelly in the Mall of America; Janice Dickinson at Christopher Straub’s runway event in Minneapolis; the Nike and Pink store grand openings at the Mall of America; Bauer Restoration (website imagery and video), Nautilus Solar’s grand opening in Northfield, MN and other businesses followed.
I concluded that I really loved working with professionals who have a vision for their businesses, who were trying new lifestyles, as well photographing homes and architecture.

As I resume, I hope to go from photographing Air bnb’s and real estate, to more hotels and resorts!  As well as capture the processes of creating products, and journal ministry stories.
